The area

Bordighera is the heart of a surprising area. Along the coast, the towns of the Riviera as far as Sanremo; behind it, the stone villages of the Val Nervia such as Dolceacqua, Apricale and Seborga, the terraced olive groves and the trails of Monte Nero towards the Ligurian Alps. And across the border, a few minutes away, the French Riviera of Menton, Monaco and Nice.
